An exceptionally written article about grid based design for the web from the guys at Designin Former.
The minute I seen this “mini site”, I feel in love with it. Everything just gels together and oozes elegance. The minimal set-up uses a gorgeous sleek (and large!) font as the main heading and gently introduces the reader to the guts of the article with a nice excerpt.
The clear separation of content and visual hierarchy really do it for me on this one and I love that it’s in no way cluttered but still offers stunning aesthetics.
I’ve always been a fan of the Mochi style, big vectors and bold colours, what’s not to like? This latest design is definitely something to talk about. The slightly grungy background, well thought out out type and cute mochi man play extremely well together. Great job guys.

I remember coming across this website a few years ago. The current design is bursting with beautiful illustrations and the little extras the site boasts is impressive such as the smooth scrolling, hovering sprites and tooltips.
First up on our Website Inspiration list is graphic designer / website designer Josh Tilton. Josh boasts some really amazing artwork that looks out of this world!
His choice of colours along with the firefox like background are so modern and fresh. Great job Josh.
